Hello

I had 2 concert tickets that I was no longer able to attend. I put them on scarlet mist and sold them to an american buyer. They were paid for via paypal and sent using the method he wanted but over 1 month on he hasn't received them (tracking shows they are in New York and have been since 20 July). He apparently started a paypal dispute by 'mistake' and they have found in his favour. I'm tempted to appeal because I did find a way to resolve the issue but he asked me not to.

I'm going to file a lost item claim with Royal Mail but not hopeful I will get my money back especially since the item has not been lost in the UK.

My family are telling me to get the tickets invalidated but I'm not sure. What would you do?

A couple of questions really- even using US tracking do these definitely not show as delivered?

Secondly, what was the cost and were they insured for that value?

    Hi Soolin

Checked USPS and they are definitely not delivered.

I was covered for the value of the tickets.

Not knowing whether you used a courier or RM you need to check not the insured value alone, but whether 'tickets' are insured by the carrier.

Then assuming you were insured I would think the tickets need to be cancelled and a claim made via the courier.
