No i was quite clear about the learners type policy where the learner is only covered whilst they are driving.

They would not insure me if a 3rd party had insurance on my car. Like the learner policy.

I guess thats how they keep costs down, They dont allow this so saves them money fighting over liability with dual insurance.

Who knows.
