Estimated price for 26 unit kitchen?

Hello
We moved into a new house, carcasses seem solid, only 9 years old. We have 26 cupboards/draws/oven housing/FF. All of that plus handles, worktop, new sink/tap we paid £2,940 for Cooke & Lewis High Gloss White.
However Ikea is playing on my mind. We had one of their kitchens before, it's excellent. Quick plan and i think it would cost around £4,500 but that includes appliances!
Our appliances would cost around £800 i reckon. Thats around £3,700 for our B&Q + appliances. So for an extra £800 we could have complete new units from Ikea and a great quality kitchen with appliances.
B&Q worry me slightly, my wife likes the doors the best. They are good. It isn't a laminated front so feels nicer on edges. But the horror stories of missing or damaged items in the shipment etc.
I could be some way out on Ikea plus the install would be a lot more (even when i dont use their installers) what would you estimate a 26 unit kitchen would be?
11 wall cupboards, 2 oven cupboards, 1 F/F door, 10 cupboards with drawers, 1 dishwasher cupboard, 1 oven cupboard. Sink / tap + extras.
Magnet for example came out at 10k for just their 16 unit U shaped example
Thank you

Worktop - how many lengths, how many mitres? Cutouts for hob and sink? Pelmets and Cornices? Single or double oven? End panels? Decor panels? Tiling? Electrics? Dishwasher and sink to go in same place as currently?
Lots more needed really to get to a half decent ROM price unless you want a window "guesstimate?
OH and BTW Ikea aren't immune from the odd short shipment problem either. The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has it's limits. - Einstein0 -
Thanks I agree, i would need to add a lot more detail but even a guestimate give or take 500 quid would be very handy.
But we wouldn't add pelmets (not keen on them), but would use end panels, cutouts of 1.5 sink with drainage, double oven, sink/diskwasher like for like (no plumbing changes) no tiling, only electrics is wiring oven into same spot. Worktops is roughly 2.4m length + 1.7m length + 3.4m length.
Perhaps sounds nuts but we want laminate this time. We had real oak before and the discolouring from water and heat is a nightmare to manage. We are very careful but the kids put wet cups on the side which create rings. Needs a yearly sand and varnish. We are going to go laminate. Some of them are ok looking now. But 3.4m can be too long for a lot of worktops without a join so it limits us.

Somewhere between £ 1,400 and £2k as a ROM.

you cant gues on you have said......
11 wall units?? 11 300 /500/600 wall units will be alot les that 11 700,800.900.1000,1200 etc due to the amout of doors, same goes on the base units.
if your looking at ikea dont they have there prices on there site and bnq??
door wise - edges - 95% of ikea are foil pvc or foil pvc over painted.
bnq are around the same but some are vinly (not inc the wood doors)
all depends what door your looking at, end panels tend to cost more than the doors as more material but you can spend what you want or dont want, go in and ask as its free to get them to cost up0 -
85% of units are 500mm or 600mm
We are definitely looking at gloss white/cream type doors.
I know we can get cheaper doors and get everything replaced for a lot less like that £1,400 - £2,000 estimate.
We are looking for similar quality to the cooke and lewis doors. Where as a lot of doors have a laminate type front gloss coating, the C&L follow the gloss over the edges of the doors. It makes the difference in feel and appearance. When the door is closed you don't see the darker edges where the laminate ends. The darker spaces are cleaner looking.
I was just wondering what a like for like kitchen would cost elsewhere. Magnet, howdens, wicked even screwfix.0 -
appologies for asking on your thread but do Ikea doors fit normal sized kitchen units or is it like Ikeas beds and that they don't?Mad Mum to 3 wonderful children, 2 foster kittens and 2 big fat cats that never made it to a new home!
Aiming to loose 56 pounds this year. Total to date 44.5 pounds 12.5 to go. Slimming World Rocks!0 -
Unfortunately, no they dont or i probably would have gone with ikea doors.
They are 69.4cm high and B&Q for example are 72cm high (what most class as standard height).0 -
Sorry I'd understood you to be looking for an ROM price for the installation of the kitchen you described. Your later posts seems to suggest that its supply.

Yes it was the supply price i was looking for please. As i'd spent just under 3k on 26 units + others i mentioned, i am curious to know what this might cost elsewhere and just how much more it would cost to have a complete new kitchen with carcasses.
I anticipated around £1,200 - £1,400 for install of a complete new 26 unit kitchen.
But as we are just replacing doors and worktop i expect this to be 3 days, 4 days max at around £500 - £700.0
