places to put a paytag?

in Credit cards
Not sure if this is really relevant or not... if it ain't admins feel free to delete or move to a more appropriate place, but with it being a credit card its a good place to start.
I've received my pay-tag and im lookin for a cool discrete place to put it?
I have tried taking the back cover off my i-phone and placing the tag "Inside" the phone... however when I attempted to make a payment the terminal was unable to find the tag... assumingly because of the thick layer of glass and the sheet of metal that goes across the case.
So, where else could I put it?
The only places I can think off is either inside the material on my coat and sew back up (which has the disadvantage of possible problems when it comes to washing the coat)...
Or, on the back of my watch which would require cutting it down and hoping it still works, and hoping it would work through the watch.
Has anyone got any cool or clever ideas where it can be put, maybe that could make people think huh? I wanna have some fun with this
I was thinking of making a "spoof" credit card that says something like "fake pay" or "terminal tricker"m laminate the paper with the pay-tag in the middle... however I figure this is probably asking for trouble and sooner or later someone will stop me and phone the cops.. would take a bit of explaining to do?
Thanks for any suggestions!

one quick thought I had is derived from a good old magic trick that comprises of a device on some elastic on the arm...
Show hands clear, straighten my hand out over the payment terminal and make the payment and turn turn my hand back over to reveal no paytag!
Sounds fun....0 -
I don't know it's dimensions, but you could attach it to a keyring with a blank keyfob (into which you insert photos, etc)
eg
They're available from craft suppliers etc.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
its about 1/3rd size of a credit card

It's a shame they don't make a round one, which you could put on the bottom of a watch.0

How would the RFID get through the watch? It seems to have problems getting through the incredibly thin piece of plastic on the back of most phones, so anything else and its no chance.RobertoMoir wrote: »In the bin, where they belong?
Bad idea, do not do this. Or at least, not until you've rang Barclays and told them to deactivate it! But surely, you would have told them "Not interested" before they even posted it out.0 -
If it fits I'd put it on either my Nectar or Tesco clubcard key fob.0

I'm not sure but I know one of the European banks does this.0 -
Make a magic wand using a piece of dowel, and some black and white paint.
Attach pay tag to the end, then dress as a wizard when shopping.0
