Canceling card having just applied...

I just applied for a card got accepted but have seen something better. I know silly mistake. Its been hour since applied and was accepted and already setup BT.

Canceling it and applying for another should save me £20 in BT fees.

Do nothing until the card arrives.

Then cut it up and send back the cancellation form.

I suppose its a bit of a risk, even though i got the card theres no guarantee i get another. Maybe i'll just live with £20 cost of the BT.
