Steam Mop

Advice please!
I have varnished floor boards and Amtico through my ground floor and am considering getting a steam mop to help keep things clean and also as I hear they will kill off flea eggs/larvae ( I have 7 cats, no flea issues though and would like to keep it that way)
What is everyone's experience of these cleaners?
They had 2 in Asda today, their instore Holmes brand for £30 and JML Shark for £60. I know Lakeland also do a version and they are generally a good brand to buy. Is it worth getting the more expensive version or is a cheaper one fine?
