Benefits advice, can my 17 year old daughter live with grandparents?

Hi, I have three daughters. They currently all live at home with me, I work full time on a very low income and so does my partner (who is not their biological father). My eldest daughter who is 17 (18 in January) is in full time education at a college very close to where my parents live. If my daughter goes to live with my parents to make it easier for college could my parents claim the tax credits and child benefit for her which would then also enable her to get a bursary while at college. If they can would I then be charged child support or not?
Thanks
Thanks

Yes, they can claim child benefit, and whatever benefits are linked to that.
No, you do not have to provide maintainance.
Any benefits you get that are linked to CB will of course go away.0
