Hello,
i have only just listed my 1st 3 items on eBay and tried to add more last night but it asked my to confirm my bank account.
They said they will take 2 amounts out of my bank account, then i have to log into paypal and enter these amounts.
is this normal practice?
I wanted to check before i do anything.

As far as I know they deposit the 2 amounts, not withdraw them.WantToBeSE wrote: »Hello,

Yes, it's to verify your bank account so buyers can pay you using PayPal.
It is a deposit, for me it was 2p and 3p and it was very quick. I happened to go into the bank and was told it was there already otherwise I would have looked on line.
Good luck with your sales

They deposit from their own account, consider it a gift, they'll just be taking after that!WantToBeSE wrote: »Oh, what if there isnt any money in my paypal account?.0 -

Yes. Its normal. They do withdraw for verifying a credit card however, you do get it back though. Send all items tracked. Your funds will be held for up to 21 days but you can get them sooner if you call them up after a week. They will see the tracking info and release0

They don't give exact time frames but it is usually a few months, after which you can apply to have the limit increasedI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
