Confusing Scottish Power bill

My most recent bill from Scottish Power for gas and electricity is from 20 Sept - 2 July. Previously they have sent me an annual bill. So if I didn't notice it would appear that the cost is actually about the same. Are they being devious? I have only started investigating as I'm looking to go on their fixed tarrif (maybe) (or even go with another supplier if it was cheaper) and wanted to compare (I'm currently on their standard - monthly direct debit package). But it's really hard to do a comparison

Did your current tariff end at the start of July or was there a rate change perhaps?

I would suggest one of their two fixes (Oct 2013 and Oct 2014) or their Online Saver 20.

They seem to be cheapest at the moment anyway.

  • Was hoping Marie @Scottish power was going to help with my query but still not heard anything. Maybe their online complaints department is busy?;)
