PayPal Bank account

Morning all

Please can anyone advise. I have a ebay business account with my bank details attached to a Paypal account.
I have opened another ebay and paypal account for my own personal use. Do I have to add a bank account to my personal paypal account or does Paypal work with a bank account attached to it?

I don't have another bank account and I think I'm right that I can't use the same bank details on 2 Paypal accounts. I just want to sell a few bits and pieces of my own but don't want to risk listing if I can't receive payment. I have a few pounds in my new personal Paypal account so it is not completely empty.

Thanks. :)

There's no need to have a separate Paypal account, just use the other one and keep the transactions separate for tax purposes. You could add another email address to the existing account and use that for personal payments. This would make it easier to keep the two separate when doing accounts.

Its possible to use a paypal account without either a bank account or a credit card registered

Paypal are quite sneaky because when you register they bring up a page asking you to register your bank/card details - however this is not actually compulsory & you can click on small link to go straight to your new account

You can use such an account to receive funds from sales & then either use those funds to buy stuff or transfer the funds to your other account with bank details registered
