Just had my LBM this BH - But moving to cheaper flat in October (rented) consolidated Debts - lowered CC limit - cut up all other cards too!
Opened 2 basic bank account to have my wages paid in to so can control all bills.
Any tips , advise on things to do would be useful ... i could use the support. Any big things i might have missed?
Luckily for me my Credit rating is good and never missed a payment.
Looking forward to starting again to be Debt free .

erm in terms of the big stuff - start a thread and post a statement of affairs and get some feedback from others
then once all the bigger stuff is done stick around on this thread, all the small changes add up to a big change! I gues sits just a process of cutting back, finding ways to do things for less or free, working out what you don't actually need and keeping your eye on the prize! Good luck and lovely to have you on board

Hi All
LPP - Thanks for starting us off
NTBY - Hope you feel better soon, love and hugs being sent your way :grouphug:
Hi , to all the newbies, great to have you on board
I'm back and looking forward to getting back on the DFW wagon. Norfolk was fab - the weather was AMAZING and we all had a great and relaxing time. Didnt get online at all during the two weeks - sorry, but I did think of you all frequently and send positvive vibes your way. We came home to a wonderful surprise - a table full of goodies from my mum (she'd been in cahoots with a friend and arranged it all) - toilet rolls, kitchen rolls, washing up liquid, fabric softener, washing powder, a beautiful scented candle and a SLOW COOKER and then to top it all my freezer is full - we were overwhelmed and cannot thank her enough
Anyway off to bed soon and back on track tomorrow with lots of washing and ironing to sort and even a bit of de-cluttering I need to declare on the OS board (yes I managed to de-clutter even on holiday, lol).
Night all, great to be back. See you all tomorrow.
Love you all
C xx

Well, I'm working nights at present, so am able to avoid the shops etc. Spent nowt on Monday, but did put £50.00 in the car sometime around 2am today - does this count as monmday or Tuesday as I'm in "nocturnal mode" at present?0
