My motivation!

Today me and youngest went to the wacky with a friend and her kids, dd loved it, it was fairly quiet so she ran amok!
Made £58 in eBay and two sales from Facebook, the payment is due end of next week so I will use that and my own money, think I'm going to pay £250, to get it down a sizeable chunk.
Feel a bit defeated ATM, hoping I keep motivated, I'm going to list some more things on fb pages and then look at ebaying for after next week so it can contribute to next months payment instead.
My meal plan is working, I have the next fortnight planned and we've been sticking to it, have not had a takeout in a while. It really makes me think how much I've wasted food, such a shame x0 -

I'm naive too, don't realise that people are using me when it suits them. I think I'm truly gotten to that stage where I just can not be arsed, apparently I was sleep talking and saying to my husband sod them all but in a more expletive manner lol. But at the same time even if people are horrible to me I can't do the same to them it's not in me to be like that, very petty x
:rotfl: Love what you said to the hubby in your sleep!
You are me!! lolWhat you're describing is me to a 'T'!!
Very well done on your sales :T Keep it up!
Well done too on your meal plans. When you sit down and think about what you spend on food and what is wasted etc etc, you do think  But the good news is, you're changing your habits so you don't need to worry any more!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Lol, I think I was very stressed that night.
Do you have middle child syndrome too lol?
Current balance on next is £644
Will make a payment tomorrow of £250
£58 of that was from sales, tonight I've made another £31 of fb sales.
Found at least ten more items of daughters clothing to eBay for next months target of £250, also going to sell her storio that I brought her and hasn't used , she prefers books I think the storio annoyed her. Also going to have a big sort out of their old toys, feel a lot more spurred on, thanks for your encouragement HAW x0 -
Seemingly yeah, you were very stressed!!!
lolYip. 4th of 5 kids!!
That's a good chunk off your Next card :T You're are doing seriously well! Seeing the balances coming down, or seeing the cash in front of you will keep you motivated! Yay :jWealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Thank you
Feeling a bit frazzled today, got a major headache. It's been such a lovely day we spent hours sorting front and back garden, we got about 20 bags of green waste so as you can imagine, it's a massive back garden! After that my brother kindly dropped my niece and nephew off for me to watch lol, he didn't even ask the cheeky git, so with all the gardening and watching four kids, I completely forgot about a driving lesson I had. I have another one next Sunday and I thinking I will have to pay for the one I just missed, kicking myself now.
Just had a nap and have woken up to chocolate all over my face because my youngest kindly left it for me! Sodding children! X0 -
We took the girls to Weston Super Mare today, they loved it, we spent £30 on petrol and another £15 on some fish and chips and some seafood, remembered to bring drinks for the girls and our own buckets and spades so we didn't have to fork out. All in all a very good day out, we haven't really been able to go on many day trips with oldest due to having u reliable cars so it was lovely to have that family outing.
Haven't listed anything on eBay yet, will do that tomorrow when oldest is at school and youngest has her nap, however have made £45 from fb sales, so currently got £67/£250 target for the next account. Next payment is due around the 16th of October so have a while to reach my target.
Oldest has decided she wants school dinners instead of sandwiches, at her school it's£1.95 a day and another 50p a day for toast money which is a total con, for that price I can nearly buy a loaf of bread!
Husband said its reasonable but I'm trying to think whether I'd be saving money or spending. The only benefit is that it's a hot dinner especially during these colder months.
Have still got a joint of lamb in the fridge and two gammon steaks which I will cook with some rice to make gammon and egg fried rice as husband doesn't like eating it on its own and the rice will take away the saltiness out of it. Pleased with my food shop as these are still things from last weeks shopping trip, I've managed to make it stretch another two days. X0 -
Why dont you do say 2 days of dinners ans 3 packed?

Thanks beanielou, it was a lovely day.
That's a thought, I will speak to her about it.
Still have not listed on eBay, I am so tired in the night now, you would have thought having some time in the day without oldest would be easier but it's almost like my youngest knows and causes extra havoc just to make up for it. I think it's only 6 weeks till half term lol....

Finally listed 10 items. Yay lol
Went to town today and my friend met me for lunch, the food was awful we didn't complain but the waitress and manager noticed we didn't eat any of our food so only charged us for our drinks. Impressed with the service, however don't think I would eat there again.
I exchanged something today and the lady was preoccupied and didn't scan all my items in so she effectively gave me £9.00, didn't even realise till I left the shop.
I have paid an extra £67 onto my next card as the bill isn't due till Friday so I might as well.
It's my moms birthday soon, she is soo hard to buy for! Every year I buy her cream because thats all she can think of! Really should have brought it today but totally forgot.0 -
hee hee
Things come in 3's so I've my fingers crossed for you on ebay!
You lunch doesn't sound great at all but good that they didn't charge you. Very decent of them.
And you got a 'free' item by accident?!
You ever ask your mum what she'd like instead? Or maybe she's happy with cream! I'd prefer to take mum or dad out for lunch on their birthday so I get to spend a wee bit of time with them too. Doesn't have to be an expensive lunch either (thankfully!!)
Keep up the good workWealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0
