Seriously, I couldn't help but wonder the very same thing - especially after the first two replies. One of them even stated "You obviously have a partner" :mad: I hate it when people jump to useless conclusions like that.
I would generally agree.
However, to be fair in this case, the second reply makes a fairly reasonable assumption. It is contribution based ESA (paid regardless of personal circumstances) that stops after 365 days. Income based would continue if the OP was eligible. Having a parter and / or modest savings would prevent this so they presumably have one or both.
The OP doesn't argue with this in their later post. I don't like the system either but it is what it is.0 -

I said you obviously have a partner and or savings and interestingly the OP hasn't denied it so I can only presume its correct. I don't make the rules and don't necessarily agree with them. :mad:I would generally agree.
