Thanks I bought a Lamaze Emily doll yesterday which was reduced and I really like the idea of sockons do they come in just one size?

Sock ons do 0-6 and then 6-12 month ones (although our 0-6 are getting tighter than I'm happy with now at 5 months) - godsend when she was a scrawny little thing with sparrow legs and no socks would stay on!
Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!
  • My sis in law sends my kids a postcard every month mentioning milestones they have achieved and bits about the world, although at present they aren't overly interested in the content they love getting post and it will be great to look back and document their childhood.

Personally I think the parents would appreciate £20 of baby related items than something that will get shoved in the loft.

I personally would have loved this more than baby toiletries. I use reusable baby wipes and nappies so there are some things I wouldn't use. I also never used baby lotion and have about 5 bottles unopened lol. Obviously the op knows the mum very well so will know what she will and won't use (what you have bought sounds very thoughtful).

Some things we were bought that we're fab were: a car tidy, shopping bag holders for the pram, car window shades, bath thermometer, a baby sleeping bag ( the dream bag is by far my fav make).

Also pj's for night will be super. Asda were the best for me as they have scratch mits and feet for little babies and they weren't very expensive. I hated having to attempt poppers for the millionth time in the night. This looks good but is pricy and I guess the Asda pj's will be almost as good http://www.thenappylady.co.uk/nappy_changing_nightgowns.asp?selindex=4&szclr=Wild%20Rose&item=Nappy%20Changing%20Nightgowns

Oh and I second sockons fab item
