DRO and Civil Court
Options
Hi i am just about to pay the last payment for my debt relief order application.
I have just currently had a bad break up with a partner who is threatening to take me to civil court over a coffee table and some other low value furniture.
Would i be exempt from civil action being taken against me because of the debt relief order?
Thanks in advance if anyone can help me dan

I pressume you are referring to who has (or who should) have ownership of goods in your possession??
I seriously doubt that anyone would go to court (althought I can believe they might threaten it) over a coffee table - but in the unlikely event they did then you would get a chance to defend / put your side.
