    - the taxpayer .. .. if you as an individual qualify for legal aid you will get it
    - is your question on 'criminal offence' related to [£300,000] your circumstances and your welfare benefits ?
    You are not eligible for legal aid as your gross income is too high.
    With 0 to 4 dependant children, you may be eligible for the following levels of help only if your gross income is no more than £2,657.00 a month. For families with more than 5 dependant children, the limit is increased by £222 for the fifth and each subsequent child.


    We earn much too much! About £39,000 a month too much (gross) actually!


    This would still put the question, for myself, of whether I should have to stump up fees if I didn't commit an offence, but that's an entirely different story, for an entirely different thread!
