Have you tried ringing the BBC Shop? From their website:
Tickets
Advance tickets are now sold out, but you can still buy tickets on the day of the concert from the on-site Box Office. The Box Office will be open from 10am on Saturday 8 September and is located near the entrance gates to the arena (nearest tube Marble Arch).
By phone
A very limited number of tickets is available from the BBC Shop in BBC TV Centre, on 020 8225 8230. A booking fee of 50p per ticket (maximum £1.00) if paying by debit card, and £1.00 per ticket (maximum £5.00) if paying by credit card, applies. Tickets will be posted by recorded delivery at a cost of £1.00. The last day for postage is Wednesday 5 September.
In person
The BBC Shop, BBC Television Centre, London W12 7RJ, is open from 9.30am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday, and 11.30am - 6.00pm on Saturdays. Booking fees apply as above.

I work near Hyde Park, my main concern is the ground. Over the past few months they've a series of concerts in exactly the same place Proms is held. During the wet weather it got so muddy that they had to cover all the grass with bark. Sitting on bark won't be that comfortable - so bring a cushion!
And remember to bring a picnic & booze in plastic bottles as it's sooo pricey there - max 1 litre per person but it's fairly easy to conceal more (inside a rolled up picnic blanket for example).0 -
Well, we were one of the lucky ones and joined the queue for the 350 tickets that they had put by for sale on at Saturday morning! when we got to the hatch there were only 38 left...The concert was amazing! can't wait for next years! thank you to all who replied0
