Hi I switched from npower to SSE for my Economy7 electricity in aug 2011.
I have suddenly realised on going through my online bills that the night meter readings have been the same but the day meter readings have been changing.
Also my bills have gone up considerably whereas I was on credit when I was with npower.
Does it mean Iam overpaying? Will SSE demand any back dated payments?
Please advice as I dread calling SSE to tell them whats happening for fear of being penalised.

Its actually the other way round if your time switch is stuck on the Day rate...both suppliers would have to work out what your Night rate should have Bern and credit your account.
What does your meter show? Is the meter advancing but one rate on just the bills haven't? If so, when they take a reading you will get a spike with the new supplier but you should have been paying some to the previous supplier. If the switch went through OK, you could choose to pay this to the current supplier, if its cheaper, and they ate willing to do...they should be as it cost the previous suppler nothing.
Please add more info as its unclear whether this is a faulty time switch or just a billing issue?
Can you also advise on the switch readings as this could be relevant in resolving this?:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0
