Hmmm, the kind of argument that gets us nowhere. You could just as easily ask why pensioners should pay for your children.I don't see why my kids have to pay for transport to go to school, and pensioners don't have to pay.
AIUI, councils get a grant from the Government, in London anyway.If I understand correctly each council pays for journeys made in its area.
Well said! It is truly embarassing to see children travelling free occupying seats, especially those marked for the less able, while struggling older people and others stand.
