hotels.com transactions not tracking on Quidco

A word of warning for anyone looking for Quidco cashback on hotels.com bookings. I've made two bookings via Quidco at hotels.com in the last 2 months and neither of them tracked. I've even been told by Quidco that it's too late to query the first purchase as it was made more than 7 weeks ago (on July 5th). This is even though the hotel stay doesn't commence until next month.

I can't say specifically about hotels.com but, in general, I've found cashback for hotel booking sites very hit and miss on quidco and topcashback.

I have never had a problem with hotels.com not tracking. I did have a problem with Holiday Inn, but I submitted a query and that was resolved (albeit very slowly).

I book hotels for business travel every fortnight through quidco / hotels.com, mainly due to them offering between 8-12% cash back

I've never had an issue with the transactions tracking through Quidco. Clearly an issue with the user or users computer.

If it doesn't track within 3 days, raise a manual query, it might take a fair while for it to happen, but cashback is a bonus.

Before visiting the website clear your cookies and go via Quidco

Hotels.com are VERY slow to both track and payout - still awaiting cashback from March - but have always gotten the cashback in the end via Quidco without needing to do anything
