sorry for my late post Bigmama but had probs with pc then site went down!Ive only used SS when on holiday we havent got any here.Ive had instances where SA has accepted them then supervisor has said no but theyve gone through the till, only to start again! If they made it clear as to what the policy was then there wouldnt be any problems as i do not want to get into trouble.
It's a case of them changing the goal posts to suit them!
TBH im getting fed up with being followed around, everytime i go in there.0 -

I used a lot of coupons today (£6 worth - I know that is nothing compared to lots of you, but it was a lot for me!!!!!!!). Anyway I didn't use my clubcard in case of any comebacks as it was about 35% off my bill. If I take the receipt back to have the points added on would it be traceable? What info does that bar code at the bottom of the receipt hold? Any advice gratefully received. Suzie ( I do not like missing out on my cc points)
Suzie (I never use a Clubcard), I wouldnt worry about using your clubcard unless you plan to do 5 or more big coupon shops a week, they arent going to pick up on isolated incidents, and wouldn't even notice a 35% reduction.
Its better to just use your card during the transaction, than get them added at CS, which if done regularly.....does flag up on your account.
Some of us reduce our bills from £100+ to pennies a few times a week, this is where mulitple CC's are advisable...................although (imho) the initial gain, far outweighs the CC gain, and the pitfalls that could go with it.Couponing....."every little hurts"

If you can find the older bottles of CW, they should still scan at 1p.......
The eye drops come under HC.....theyre on bogof i believe as well, although with only 1 valid HC coupon, you'll still have to pay something towards them....pity you didnt get them yesterday, before the GA expired.Couponing....."every little hurts"

Yes, the lovely purple bottles of CW detangler still scan at 1p, I managed to find 4 on Saturday on a shelf with discontinued items in the H&B section.

I see now what you mean.
If it's any help, in my store we have been told, if you have bought it then coupon OK but if coupon is for an item not purchased then only 10% of the total is allowed and only one of each type. We are not allowed to take internet coupons at all even if the item is purchased but I know they do in other stores as I used one yesterday. As you can see it does vary from store to store and also you will find helpful SAs (like me:D ) that will take as much as they know they can get away with and others that are just not very customer friendly.0 -

Gingim is correct, from the new Quit packs £1.25 off £5.00 spend B&T, exp.17/06/07. These are very thin on the ground.
There was also a printable impulse coupon on the thread somewhere for 70p I think if your store takes them. Impulse on BOGOF. As from yesterday I'm having a rest from T&B until some new coupons are released, as I've run out of £1.25's & running out of space.0
