Sorry to change the subject... all you coupon experts ...
I used a lot of coupons today (£6 worth - I know that is nothing compared to lots of you, but it was a lot for me!!!!!!!). Anyway I didn't use my clubcard in case of any comebacks as it was about 35% off my bill. If I take the receipt back to have the points added on would it be traceable? What info does that bar code at the bottom of the receipt hold? Any advice gratefully received. Suzie ( I do not like missing out on my cc points)Weight loss - here we go again - watch this space!

Thanks bdlk - I do use my mum's card as well, but I would hate to be 'told off'/ reprimanded/struck off etc by Tesco.Weight loss - here we go again - watch this space!

birds eye beef frenzy? what is that? sounds fun.
I was there during the frozen beef frenzy - we bought quite abit of it and I stored some at mum's house as my freezer was full. The shimmering multi-coloured beef was a wonderful thing :rotfl: :rotfl:
and as I am a mad cow anyway I wasn't worried about the side effects :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I wish they would do something foodie again but something that we all would buy and eat to get extra points.

You can quite safely add your points on as I don't think they'll worry about only 35% off your bill. Maybe? it only raises alarm bells when it is repeatedly 90%!0 -
What was the banana fiasco?0

It raises alarm bells when the SA raises the alarm bell no disrepect to you Bigmama but i can see Suzies worry i worry the same so must confess i do spend/buy more than i can afford to justify my vouchers i worry too, if they had a notice up in each store at least you would know what you were allowed to use. This way tesco lure people in under false pretences to use these vouchers then spank them when they do!!!This isnt fair its entrapment!!0

I don't understand quite what you mean by the SA raising the alarm bell, but I use my discount card a lot when I am using coupons as well so that I get the maximum I can off. Maybe it's because you use self scan tills, we don't have them anyway.
As far as I can see, if the till has accepted it then why should it be a problem? It's not as if we can over ride the till.0 -
i got some of the roast beef too - not as much as you guys tho - it was so utterly gross that i just couldnt bear to get any more - even for free points LOL!!!0
