Do you think it's worth hanging on to the 50 pointers until they fix the problem? Not that I've got any of the blighters yet :rotfl:

I am keeping mine until they work correctly - my main target is to boost my points so will hold onto them

Me too, I asked on PTS and they are still scanning as 50p off today. I managed to pick up a couple of new H&B at Bridgend loads on the phatmacy counter but couldn't help myself because of staff.

Do we know if anyone has contacted tesco to moan???

Did a shop today which included toiletries.
Assistant refused to accept more than 1 of the 50pt on £2 spend (from so beautiful booklet). This despite the fact I had spent over £8 on toiletries. I actually only had 2 of the 50pts - I wanted to use all my coupons up - I cannot fact buying any more toiletries using coupons as have had a couple of bad experiences recently with jobsworth assistants.

Have I just been unlucky or are Tesco really tightening up coupon use.

I think you have just been unlucky today....I did 6 x £24(HandB) shops today and only on one did the SA mention that she could only take 50% of the total.......luckily she looked at the total before bogof, and took £21 worth of coupons off my shop leaving me £8 to pay.........a little knowledge is a dangerous(but thankful) thing.

FYI, the 50 pointers are scanning as usual in my local.

I'm off there tomorrow, to use my last set of HB! Help! LOL, will check to make sure the 50 pointers are still working.
