Has anybody used any of the healthcare vouchers successfully against nit lotion? The only one I can find on the Tesco website is Lyclear sprayaway & it's listed under medicines. Lice lotion is available from the shelf near the plasters.
Now would be an excellent time for me to stock up, as it's quite pricey.
(I've asked this question before with no answers, perhaps it's just my kids school that suffers from it.)
Thanks in anvance.
HI kronen i have tried this and it did work for me with the last healthcare quit vouchers0 -

Hi Kronen,
My Dd has long hair & when she gets nits I just wash her hair then put on conditioner & comb through with ny nit free comb then swill off any conditioner.
Shes usually nit free in no time & it saves using any medicated lotions & I use cheap conditioner.
I dont know what comb you use but I paid £8 for ny nit free comb & its fab. It has long teeth which are slightly spiralled. It also pulls some of the eggs off the hair.0 -
Come on people, I think this should have been a PM,
I feel like spoil sport lately, but the threads are certainly getting clogged up with either non topic stuff, or "ive pmed you" messages
But Kronen's question wasn't off-topic, it concerned whether or not the healthcare vouchers worked on nit stuff.Cos I don't shine if you don't shine.0 -

Sorry mod, ( I mean Leadhead
Might interest Ebay sellers on here that they could buy Lyclear sprayaway priced at £9.99 I think, use 1x£2.00 old qp, 1x£2.00 new qp, 2x£1.00 new h&B. Get lotion for £4.99 & still fetches £8.99 & postage on Ebay.
Any nit lotions sell for shop price on Ebay.
This is on topic, as it's a way of getting rid of any unwanted health vouchers.
Please do not reply, just pm or thank, as we don't want this thread cluttered.0 -

u can get nit lotion free on prescription if ur children have live lice, remember to get some for each of ur children but only use it if u actually find the little devils(lice)....also get someone to check u and ur partner. treat and then recheck regularly, at least 7 day intervals for new eggs hatching, until ur sure they're gone....oh, and dont forget to tell friends, family and school so that evryone else can check and treat...
incidently i was once told by a pharmacist a couple of yrs ago when actually buying headlice lotion, that adult men do not get headlice....only pubic lice, urgh...hth:rolleyes:0 -
Re: use of healthcare vouchers etc - I am planning to use 2 of mine for the roll on which is applied to the head - it is called 4head Headache Treatment 3.6g priced at £5.63 and buy something else to take it over the £8 spend. I get a migraine around the same time each month and this really helps.
As for nit lotion - great idea to use them for that too, here in Wales the nitty gritty comb is available free on prescription
http://www.nittygritty.co.uk/ng/index.jsp
above is the link and the on the left hand column is a letter to download a letter which you give your doctor and he then gives you the prescription. I prefer this method as the comb has lasted ages and there are no chemicals involved.

Floydy, Thanks but my doctors wont give lice lotion on prescription.
Welsh-Dragon, Thanks, I bought the nitty gritty on Ebay, but hope your post helps someone else.
Please we better not talk about nits anymore, as we've upset Leadhead  coz we're going off topic. I have my answer now. Sorry I asked now in the first place.0 -
Can anyone confirm if these 50 pts are scanning correctly yet. Is Constantine still on these threads, perhaps he could inform Head Office about this error0
-
Yesterday the 50 pointers were still scanning as money off. I was chatting to someone today and saying what if this was a cunning plan by Mr T.
After all 50 points is equivalent to £2.00 when converted OR they can give us the cheaper option of 50p ........... maybe I am just too paranoid
