Renewing house insurance online

Hi
Just renewed mum's house insurance online as it was cheaper than her current insurance. Looked at the n.c.d for the new insurance which was at 5 yrs n.c.d but her renewal from her old insurance says 6 yrs n.c.d. I've just rang them and they said they couldn't change it (even though the proof is there) as I done the insurance online and I got the online discount (which doesn't make sense) instead of ringing up for a quote. :mad:
I'm waiting for the complaints dept to ring me but has anyone else had the same sort of prob?

Hi, it isn't like car insurance which the NCD can go up and up ( with some companies ), usually the max. discount given with house insurance is about 40% after 5 years and then no more, so it will make no difference.0

A manager rang me today about the house insurance. N.C.D is getting changed to what it should be and they are looking into changing the way that you put n.c.d into their website, since they reward up to 10 years.....Results!! :j
