Post IVA Question.

Options
I have now completed my IVA. Can I claim back reclaim the PPI from the creditors that were involved in the IVA without causing myself more problems with these lenders and how far back can the reclaim go?

when you did the IVA did you end up paying back the creditors in full or only a small part of what you owed them

  • Hi, Only part was repaid about 33%
  • I know people who have claimed back PPI charges from the companies involved within the IVA.

Make sure you have your completion certificate first though as you may need to send in a copy to the banks involved etc.
  • Hi Many thanks for the reply. I have recently got this. If I do try to get the PPI back do you think this could make things more difficult in the future? Should I just be taking a deep breath and say lets just start again?

Easy way to be sure, ask your IP if they have any objection to claiming the PPI, get it in writing then you have covered yourself and you can do it stress free
