Hi
dunno if it's possible to do this easily, but it's worth a shot......
does anyone know of a free (or very cheap) programme you can get to capture video files from a dvd??? I'm wanting some ** Removed - Abuse Controller ** as video files for my computer, but only have the dvd....
I tried download.com, but wasn't sure what to search for!!
cheers

lots of stuff here : https://www.afterdawn.com0

DVD Shrink will allow you to copy then remaster the DVD selecting the sections you want.0 -
Use Smartripper, DVD2AVI & TmpegENC to rip the Vob's and re-encode as Mpeg1/2
Then use TmpegENC to split the file into the scenes you want.

I'd agree with urbanite, except I'd use DVD Decrypter rather than Smartripper - http://www.dvddecrypter.com/
There are many different ways of acheiving the results you want - try https://www.videohelp.com - they have plenty of step-by-step guides available. They call me Mr Pig!0 -
I must remind everyone that ripping copyrighted DVDs that you do not have permission to copy is an offence in the UK. I would ask that any further discussion on this matter be taken elsewhere as MSE cannot condone or allow it.0
