What is best way to find cheap flights to anywhere in the sun?

Is there a site that allows me to put in departure date (Monday) and number of nights (6) and see which destinations have cheap flights available?

That way if i found flights in budget I could then look for accomodation. Equally if there was a site that allows me to put in dates and "anywhere" as destination with some accomodation criteria (4* plus) that would be great too.

Help please!!

Late deals on Thomson/First Choice allow you to search for packages by many different criteria, including 'all destinations.'

Use the Flightchecker tool on the main part of this site.

I wrote a guide on finding cheap flights, can't publish the link here obviously but get in touch if you are interested. I'll summarise it below, examples are all specific to the flights I'm looking for by the way but are applicable in most cases.

Try and fly off season: GLA>BKK high season(£427); off season(£348)
Fly to transport hubs and take cheapo internal flights: Flying straight from GLA to Malaysia(£570); flying via BKK and taking a cheap short haul(£390)
Use multiple flight search engines, comparing identical travel dates: Travelsupermarket(£372); SkyScanner(£419); CheapFlights(£480); Fly24(£575). All sites have strengths and weaknesses so use multiple engines to fill all the gaps.
Booking early in general gets you better prices: 1 month in advance(£419); 6 month(£353)
Check out the airports wikipedia page to find Low Cost Carriers that may not be listed on search sites. In Ecuador an airline called TAME runs flights $100 cheaper than competitors but doesn't appear on flight search sites.
Sign up for all the newsletters, use a new email address so you don't have to put up with them on a day-to-day basis: The Flight Centre, Fare Compare, Airfare Watchdog, Best Flights, Air Asia, Smarter Travel, Vayama, etc.
Clear your cookies before searching. Some sites record what you have searched for and manipulate how prices are displayed to make certain flights look better.
Use the 'view whole month' button on SkyScanner, or any other site that has it, to see a price distribution for the month. If you want to fly Glasgow to Paris in March 2013 the last nine days are at best double and at worst quadruple the lowest potential price that month.
    1. Save money.
    2. Worry you haven't saved enough.
    3. ????
    4. Travel.
    £3,000/8,000ish.

Skyscanner.net is very flexible. You can enter "Everywhere" as a destination and it will show you which countries and airports are cheapest. You can also enter a country as a destination or do it the other way round, enter country (uk) as a departure point and it will show you the cheapest airports in the uk to get to the destination.

Just a reminder that for low cost airlines the skyscanner price won't include bags and card fees ;)
