cheap home phone / broadband deals

Hi,
Our bt contract for our home phone and broadband are coming to an end on 7th sept and we are looking for a much cheaper deal. Sky have offered us a good deal of £12.95 pm month (free broadband) for the first 6 months then an extra £7 after that. The only thing is i have heard that the speed can be a bit slow with sky??? Also primus have their deal of £13.99 a month but i have read on here some not so great things about them??
Am i missing any other good deals?

Broadband is exchange-specific, so the first thing to do is an exchange search on https://www.samknows.com for your LLU options, these will be the cheapest options.
Speed is largely dependent on distance from the exchange, what speed are you currently getting?
Sky LLU is good, Sky Connect is dire-which are you referring to?

Sky LLU is good and i wouldn't say it's a bit slow for me
