Sports insurance for children

Looking to get some sports insurance for my kids, mainly for peace of mind about personal liability.
Anybody got any experience of companies in this area. the ones that keeps coming up on the www is Sportscover Direct?

Do you run a club ?
If not and it is just your own kids, check your Home Insurance liability cover. That will cover personal liability.
Personally I would not bother to have a specialist sports liability policy, unless I were running a club. It is far more likely to be sued, as the owner/supervisor of a club or owner/care taker of sports grounds/facilities, than it would be to be sued as an individual participating in sport.
I sustained a neck injury playing Rugby, but I never considered suing anyone. If you participate in sports, then there is a chance you will get injured and it may be caused by someone else, but that is the risk you take, when you cross the touchline.The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0
