Parking in London on a Sunday?

Hi, I'm taking the family to London this coming Sunday - we plan to be there for about half the day, and will checking out a couple of places including the London Eye.

Is there anywhere where we can park reasonably close.

Not too familiar with London other than being told that it is possible to park on yellow lines.

We expect to arrive at about 9am

Ive googled a few sites but they are only telling me of paid parking spaces.

I've always parked outside and got train / tube in.

There are plenty of free spaces in the SE1 area on a Sunday, read the signs thoroughly next to the on road parking spaces to find spaces that are free on a Sunday.

Most of Union Street is free on a Sunday, you can park on the single yellow there on a Sunday and it's a short walk to the London Eye. If you need a post code for your sat Nav try SE1 0LH
