Countdown ticker in signature

I have seen on some other forums they have the ability to add a countdown ticker in their signature which automatically counts down to a certain date.
They use VBulletin software. I can't work out if we can do this on MSE.
Could we maybe have something like this so all of us DFW's can count down to the day we should be DF. (As most of us snowball we should be able to work out the date)
Just an idea
Thanks

Liking that idea :TSavings Total so far for 2023: £8,062.580 -
to be honest im not sure whether the powers that be would be for this, as there is already a problem with some peoples signatures being too big and taking up lots of room.
and on a technical side, i dont know if theyve used VB coding to prevent pictures being used in sigs, but ive never seen anyone on here with anything more advanced than a smilie in their sig. if that is the case, im not sure whether the coding would support it
not a bad idea though  its like counting down how many sleeps until a holidayknow thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -

OK perhaps i'll just try to work it out manually in weeks rather than days, that way I won't have to change my sig each day

The problem with images in signatures is that that I don't think there is any way to place restrictions on them.
With Vbulletin you can now let people upload images to the forum's server and restrict them in size
but with you're allowing people to hotlink to an image elsewhere (which is what a ticker is) then there's nothing stopping them putting postcard-sized images in their signature.0 -
That is a fab idea!!
There can just be a rule that no one can have pics in their sigs, just like we can have too many lines in our sig now:starmod: :staradmin :starmod:I gave up jogging for my health when my thighs kept rubbing together and setting fire to my knickers:starmod: :staradmin :starmod:0
