Hi,
I could really do with some help as i dont understand the letters they have sent me and when i rang up i couldnt get any sense out of them either.
First letter i received is for 06/04/2011 to 20/08/2011
i rang in june and gave final year figures for myself of 5272 and they have put down 6500 and say i didnt provide my p60 details, which i did!!
they claim i owe them £482.38
myself and ex split up on 20/08/11 and then got back together, so next letter is for period 21//08 - 15/10 (when we split for good)
they have used the figures from the year 2010 to april 2011 to base their final award on........how come?? yet the one above used 2011/12 wages??
I am soo confused over it all and they dont seem to be able to help. They want 78.77 from the second award.
I cant understand how ive been overpaid when ive always provided correct amounts at end of year and as you can see above ive actually overestimated by over 1k!!
anyone able to help me? i can provide figures by PM if that would help anyone to help??
Thankyou in advance

Sounds like they didn't see that there were 2 claims on which your income had to be confirmed. Call them back and ask them to look at the notes on each claim and confirm that you did actually give them the correct figures. If you don't want to do that write to them and ask for a copy of all your phonecalls for both claims and listen to them before disputing any overpayment which is showing. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Asking for copies of the calls *may* not be possible as I know of at least one office where calls arent recorded as they dont have the phones or equipment to record calls.0
