Will 2 Avios cards reward 2 companion tickets per year?

Hi. I've a BA Amex premium card already. And I've already spent enough to get a companion ticket. You can only be awarded 1 companion ticket per calendar year, irrespective of spend. Since I've recently moved house, I'm expecting quite a few more purchases on the horizon.

So my question is, if I also get the Lloyds Premier card and reach the companion ticket spend requirement for that card, will I get another companion ticket?

Yes, as they are totally separate products. However, be aware that the Lloyds companion voucher is only valid on Economy flights which makes it a lot less valuable than the Amex companion voucher.

...and your Lloyds credit limit will likely be less than your Amex limit..so it can be impossible to reach the spend requirement unless you make several payments a month..which is inconvenient..
