Revamped Enter Button?

Has anyone seen the new revamped enter button?
Instead of saying "Enter", it's now a tick and has an "undo" button instead of saying "Unenter".
Do we think this might be part of the upgrade for the supposed "Skip" button?

no idea what the skip button is, but i suppose it helps those people who think they have entered the comp by merely ticking the box!0

I've just noticed it and don't like it a bit. What was wrong with it saying 'enter'?
This is senseless change for the sake of changing.:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

Was this done because some people said they often hit Spam instead of Enter?
Think it was hoped to have the two buttons separated rather than the tick...not that the tick bothers meThe first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter0 -

Never thought of that!
This is the thread talking about the Skip button: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/55289441#Comment_55289441
MSE towers seem to be taking it seriously.2019 Wins

I admit, I do prefer it how it was but I don't like change that much.:o
I don't like that on the top of the thread, the tick is black (at least for me) but is still green on the thread listings. I'd prefer it if the black tick was still green.betterlatethannever wrote: »Was this done because some people said they often hit Spam instead of Enter?

I have no idea, but I do think alot of people were talking about having the Spam and Enter buttons separated, like you said.2019 Wins

I was kinda expecting it, the MSE Forum Manager had posted this a day or so ago on the Skip Button thread...MSE_Forum_Manager wrote: »Hi Folks,
We've been having a chat about this this morning and have an idea. Firstly, here's some information for context and rationale:
For every new element we introduce, it places additional load on our database. It's by no means a big problem, but naturally to keep forum speed and efficiency we try and be as clever with the amount of times we need to do this as possible.
For the purposes of what we're discussing here - to expand enter to three options, "enter", "skip" and "not interested" gives us three times the current hit.
This is our proposed solution : Rather than giving the buttons names, why dont we just give you a tick and a cross (or appropriate opposing colours or symbols) which you can then use as you see fit.
You can call them "yes / no" "enter / skip" "enter / dont care" or whatever works for you personally.
This, hopefully, gives you a usable system that makes comping much easier, whilst helping us keep the strain on our server and database as low as possible.
Would this seem a fair compromise to all?My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly

Seems easier to hit the spam button now that it was before ... think it's because the tick button is smaller than the rest0

I am kinda thinking I'll use the Tick as my entered button, and the Cross for comps I am defo not interested in ever opening up again, then I know that unmarked threads are likely ones I have not opened at all yet, iyswim, hth, xxxMy light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly
