Best Way To Clean Yukky Fridge Freezer!!

DD moving into rented property next few days and the fridge freezer's a bit yukky!:eek:

It's been defrosted but left shut since dont know when, and untill she can afford a new one it will have to do.

Any suggestion's on best way to clean/disinfect/freshen appreciated.

You need to make sure your food isn't tainted so anything that is a detergent you can't use.

What I've cleaned fridges/freezers with in the past:
1. Bicarbonate of soda- highly recommended
2. Dilute Bleach and lots of water - not recommended but I lived in a student house with mould growing out of the fridge.

Bicarb sounds good. I know bleach would do the job,but as you say,you really got to be carefull.
DH was butcher many years ago, and one of the apprentice's mopped out a walk in freezer with a bleach solution on a busy weekend. On the foll Mon they were inundated with complaints from cust's about the meat, and thousands of pound's worth had to be destroyed.
He was one lucky lad,cos he never lost his job!
