Depends largely on experience, sometimes experience can outweigh qualifications, sometimes qualifications are gate keepers.
e.g. PRINCE2 is often a gateway qual, you wont get an interview without one, whether you actually use PRINCE2 or not.0 -

Yes, many but they never get to the jobcentre, friends and family get to hear about them first.
Seems places like Landrover are taking on but unless you fit a very tight criteria you don't stand a chance.
Good luck, I'm in the same boat it sounds like.0 -
Round here things like Warehousing jobs never require experience/qualifications but they are very menial/boring/slit your wrist type jobs

It really depends on what you consider 'well paid'!
I've had jobs that paid a salary over the national average that didn't require a post-secondary qualification (ie you needed to have A levels but no university or job-specific qualifications).Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -
Train/tube driver. Needs a training period, but no particular formal qualifications to start learning iirc.
Edit: I've just googled it and tube drivers can earn over £60k/year if you include overtime!Saving for deposit: Finished! :j
House buying: Finished!

I work in an office, main duties are diary management and travel planning, don't have a degree, have done secretarial type courses at college (typing, microsoft office).
I have worked for different companies in advertising, government training schemes, finance and telecommunications without having any relevant qualifications, just by showing some enthusiasm at the interview!
Are there any courses at college that you could do to make your cv more attractive or can you start at the bottom of a company and work your way up (that was my route).0 -
