Yes if an appeal or reconsideration is successful then you are restored to the original position ie. receiving ESA payments as previously.
If an appeal or recon is not successful then you are stuck waiting for a new WCA and then will be paid if you pass, or a new/worsening condition is accepted by a decision maker.0
