ESA..Medical evidence question..

Hi, I sent off my ESA50 along with a less than helpful 'print out' of my medical history from my GP.
I have since acquired an 'in depth' supporting letter from the CMHT which highlights in much greater detail my current problems. Unfortunately this evidence was not sent with the ESA50.
I feel this letter would not only strengthen my claim for ESA (i'm hoping to be migrated from IB) but may also help me avoid the need for a face to face assessment with the dreaded Atos.
Would it be possible to send this letter seperately? if so, who would I address it to? Or should I just wait till the inevitable 'face to face' and submit it then?
Thanks.

I'd advise sending it to ATOS HC at address you sent ESA50 and explaining it is additional evidence... that way it may be considered before medical is determined to be required or not. If medical is arranged I'd take copy along and present to HCP at medical. I'd send a copy to the DWP also to ensure the decision maker should get a copy regardless of ATOS activities."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack0

I'd second the above...
And stress to keep copies of everything you send, as well as sending it all recorded signed for delievery. (Another thread on here brought up that it is unlikely that they actually sign for it when it arrives, but I think Royal Mail take better care of it if it is intended to be signed for!)0 -
Yes I thought so, leave no stone unturned. Thanks for the very useful replies.:beer:0
