Identity: birth certificate & decree absolute?

Quick question because I have an appointment today: I can't find my passport and I've never had a driver's license.
Can I use my birth certificate plus my decree absolute for proof of identity? I don't have a copy of the marriage certificate, but presume they can link my maiden and marrieed names on the computer? Obviously my first name and date of birth are correct!
I also have a utility bill for proof of address. Is there anything else I should take?

I know I can ask the DWP, but you try getting through on the telephone! Just thought someone here might know.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

A letter from the DWP plus credit card bill is what I normally use -- or utility bill, yes. Some institutions also want photo ID of some kind, but it needn't be a passport or driving licence.
Govt etc. have never given me any hassle.
ETA sorry, posted more or less simultaneously with you!
The "rule" tends to be proof of ID plus proof of address (sometimes, plus photo ID); a letter from HMRC or DWP (the most recent, ideally) plus, well, a utility bill, a credit card bill
-- here you are, these are fairly standard requirements
