Hi everyone out there, I've just got the PC game The Black mirror. But after loading it on my desktop computer, I get this message agds.exe which stops the game from playing?
But oddly! it works on the laptop? which has the same windows XP and service pack 2 installed, the same set up on both.
Any help and or ideas as to how to get it to play on the desktop PC.

a quick google seems to show that it is an SP2 problem, and the only workaround is to remove the SP.
As you have it installed on 2 comps, and only have a problem on one, I'd hazard a guess that it's the DirectX update in SP2 that's the problem. You'll need to roll back to SP1, and then select the updates you need, leaving out the DirectX update. No guarantee this will work, but it has solved some of my graphics issues.
