Does anyone know of any car companies that are running their own scrappage scheme? We have a 13 year old Ford Focus
Thanks
Thanks

You ought to be able to do better than any scrappage scheme. If they give you £2k off to take your £100 piece of scrap you will be paying that £2k somewhere.
Search the online brokers and find yourself a good deal and scrap or sell your old car yourself.0 -

Birchwood Ford,Kia,Skoda etc have just given me 2Kscrappage for my '95 Charade so if you are in or near the south its worth a look. Kia also have 7 year warranty.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
Can't see they would have given me 2k on my 17yr old car but you might be right.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

They will simply eBay it to get back as much as they can.
FTR, I sold my '98 Focus with engine fault for £475 on eBay and used the same site to purchase a '00 Octavia from a dealer for £675 that the dealer allowed £850 trade-in on.
Ok, I paid-out £375 to get the timing belt and waterpump replaced, but I would have done that anyway due to the mileage a rack-up over a week.Never Knowingly Understood.

Find a car first and see what you can get the price down to before mentioning scrappage schemes.
Your Focus, if running, is worth at least £500. If it's a low mileage diesel it's worth the best part of a grand.0
