Cable Wireless Router Required

HI All,
I am looking for a wireless router for my folks to have on their PC so that their grandkids can use their laptops (what's the world coming to, kids with laptops!) downstairs. My folks have cable, and a PC which is a few years old but they have been told it is ok for the web, etc. Does anyone have any recommendations please? I was thnking of recommending this one...here

Cheers
Andy

Well all my other stuff is g recieving (Wii, Xbox 360, PS3), I run both my pc's wired anyway, but even though the consoles are still g, if I was on the old router I wouldnt have stood a chance of getting a signal in many of my rooms cos my walls are made of lead or something lol. I could have bought a signal booster but I wasnt very hopeful as I dont have any power sockets in the best place for it. This draft n router really does the job it seems.

Cant recommend Linksys enough - there customer service is brilliant.

It is also a free phone number :T you speak to someone in asia (one call I have no problem making ) - speak excellant english - they will talk you though every step of setting up and help with problems.

Even had weather reports of how hot is was out there  and it was snowing here.:rotfl: :rotfl:

I had a linksys router which didnt work as good as it should have, so they arranged pick up and they shipped another one to me all within a week.

Customer service is 100% excellant and they are very patient (for those of us who arnt very techie minded )
Thanks to everyone who posts comps :T
  • I'm on Virgin broadband as well. How about Netgear?
