Ive a Linksys WRT54G and its superb, I got it upstairs in the landing and signal is brill, even pick it up in the garden and next door!
Never had probs with it and Ive recommended it to other (all on ntl cable broadband) and they all like it also
One time I had a problem was due to a change of the mac address. I contacted linksys live chat support. They responded within a minute (impressive!!!) and resolved the problem. I got a big email with tips to help me next time (though Ive lost it since)

The one I have has superbooster but then that is only useful if u buy the booster card for your PC.:hello:

Shopping Tips
Don't spend five pounds to dry clean a shirt. Donate it to the charity shop instead. They'll clean it and put it on a hanger. Next morning buy it back for two pounds.0 -

Quick stupid question: If I want to connect a Sony Vaio and a Dell laptops to it (both with wireless connectivity), do I need to buy USB adaptors for both of them?0 -

Yes, assuming they don't have Wi Fi built in, but they don't have to be USB types.0 -

those laptops should have wi-fi built in, if not then the adapters are pretty cheap anyway

Not sure if the offer is still available but TW/NTL (Virgin Media) were giving away free netgear routers to subscribers who had 2MB broadband. I have one as back up though dont use it as my Linksys WRT54GS works brilliantly.0
