1st time user! Hi, can anyone help me with the jargon i have recieved from my bank. Downloaded the template letter and sent to Halifax. At last had a reply but it refers to if the reason for request for information is for "manual intervention" they are not obliged to help- WHAT DOES THIS MEAN, ARE THEY WRIGGLING

Manual Intervention is when a bank employee has to check a transaction on your account rather than a computer.
Banks could potentially use this as part of their costing for a charge because it is not completely automated.
However, if they don't supply these details then it would be hard for them to use these in their defence in court, so don't worry about it.0
