Travelodge saver cancellation

I have a travelodge booked on a saver. I no longer need the room. I can cancel, but I won't receive a refund (which is ok - I understand that). Why bother going through the bother of cancelling?

I think if you ring them they can change non-cancellable bookings to another hotel / date if that's any use to you? You have to stick with another non-cancellable rate though.0

we have just been told that we could not transfer to another hotel on the saver room rate only change the date for the same hotel (we had to cancel due to wedding being called off so will not be traveling to this part of the country) so I would not bother with the insurance unless one of your party is ill0

Put it on E Bay, I have had the same problem broke even, didn't make any money but I didn't want to. Someone else had a nice night in London for a bargain price.0

I wouldnt sell it to a total stranger on ebay, its booked in your name and address, they could trash the room, smoke in it and who do you think they would come after for the damages.
If you have a friend or a family member then obviously that would be fine.
Where is it.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
