How to edit a thread title?

Hello everyone. I have just tried to update a post I wrote last year as I'm still in the same situation and I need more advice. I thought I'd edited the title to show the new query but the new title only shows after you open the thread. Can I not edit the thread title that shows in the index so that people can see it's a new question?

Hi

I think you can only edit it for a short time after you post.
After that you need to ask the Board Guide for the board in question

Click on the edit button, on the first post,(if it is your thread)
click on "go advanced" and you can edit it from there
