Admiral 12 & 10 Month Policies

Hi,

I'm getting car insurance with admiral. The 12 month was £1215 and 10 month £1062 roughly.

I'd be paying monthly though so the price goes up.

Even though online the 10 month policy knocks off £150 when I phoned up I was told the 12 month policy would be £143 a month and the 10 month policy £150 a month. Don't quite understand how it's more expensive for the 10 month policy because I'm paying monthly but if I paid in one go it was £150 cheaper!??

So basically they're asking me to pay a extra £70 for 2 months less cover and insurance premiums will rise by next year so I'll probably end up worse off on the 10 month policy.

It doesn't make sense.
