    Hi,
Managed to get hold of some blue vouchers (Ebay), one set dated Sept. 07 the other dated July 07. Think I read on here somewhere before that you could use both of these sets together in one transaction. Is this right? Want to use 2 x £10 off £50 spend when buying £60, would this work? Also, usually put £10 voucher to front to be scanned first otherwise it might not work but does the July voucher (with different barcode) also have to be scanned first?

Why only the 2x£10, you can also use the 4x£6 as well....

Ive never used differently barcoded blues together, Ive had problems with the £10 being refused if it wasnt the first one scanned,.... so would use them one after another.
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

    It all went well :)

I don't know why i had a bit of a panic........the chap on CS didn't even look at the coupons, just refunded me stright away. He didn't look old enough to have a teenage daughter so am guessing he has a younger sister!:rotfl:

    So i went round again..........twice :o

I've already used most of my £6 ones. Tried £60 yesterday with 2 x £10 (diff. barcodes, 2 x yellow (thanks leadhead), 2 x quit, 2 x active. All worked except £10 with July expiry date. So £10 for £60 worth of clothes, also did £16 h&b shop and all went through. 6 months ago I would have been delerious at getting this much money off. Yesterday I was slightly peeved at having to pay £10! (Just no pleasing some people, greeds a terrible thing):p
  • Hiya,

I know how you feel, I've never found any of the vouchers quoted in here for the clothing up in any of the Dundee stores. Has anyone else had any luck and if so which store did you get them from?

I've 3 teenage sons, my youngest is 13 and 6ft tall and a nightmare to get clothes for.

I did at one point get some of the H&B vouchers quite a while back and managed to swap some on here and stock up on radox (about 6 years worth), all for personal use.

If anyone sees the vouchers in the Dundee stores, could you please give me a shout via PM and I will try and get some. I've got one set of blue vouchers which I think are due to expire soon, which I hope to use up.

    Many thanks in advance.

PS never ever seen any of the quit ones either up this end. Again is this area specific. Just curious. Thanks again.

will pm you if I see any in future :)

    Hi Patty
Thanks for all the vouchers, Found some blue clothing vouchers(spent £50 used £25 vouchers) but could I have used any of the £6 ones? I only have the £6 ones left now so what do you think is the best way to spend them please? I can't for the life of me find any vouchers of any sort in the Tesco's around me, don't know if I'm looking with my eyes shut!! though I found 50p off birds eye chicken in the mag, do you have to buy the product or will they just scan? sorry but real new to this money saving.

as long as all the barcodes are different and you've met the minimum spend they'll all scan :)

the birdseye coupon should scan without having bought the item

    If you spent £50, then i'm guessing you used the £10 blue, £6 blue, £5 blue & £4 blue...yes?
You could have also used 1 x £6 get active BUT.....if you'd spent £60 (mad i know, but stick with me)...on a £60 spend you could use all the above blues plus 2 x £6 get actives. i.e.....you got £25 off a £50 spend but on a £60 spend, you'd get £37 off.

If my math is playing up ...Sensei Leadhead will sort it out later.:D

Inspired by Leadhead and his success, I decided to try again after my knock back at my local store.

So in order to maximise my tesco shopping time, I slotted in some double time overtime this morning at my office, got up at 5.30am was working by 6am - scanned the threads for the voucher news, left office at lunch-time went tescoing to 4 stores, (getting papers at first shop to use on other 3 shops), got £120 worth of clothes for free using assorted clothing vouchers, £32 worth of healthcare for free using vouchers, bought £40 of toiletries again for free using toiletry vouchers and best of all ................

I treated myself to a free water butt by using the vouchers mentioned on the newspaper thread today - a big thank you to everyone who posts on MSE.

As for the clothing, I was worried my vouchers would be refused so I did 4 x £30 shops handing over:

1 x £6 yellow, 1 x £6 mens blue, 1 x £6 active, 1 x £6 quit = £24 off a £30 spend but then I added a £4 daily mail voucher and another £2.70 paper voucher so all my clothing became freebies and I was 70p up on my other shopping. (I haven't got any blue £6 womens or £10s) but in any case I got them free so that was fine.

I treated myself to a lovely red coat, a dress for work and matching shoes etc so delighted although very tired after such a busy day ! and I got DD1 an outfit for her school dance show which would have cost £15 but was free using vouchers.
