It seems that several serial R+Rers (including myself) have made their way over to this board after the end of R+R... we all know that MSE was probably responsible for both the success of R+R for the consumers but eventually this resulted in the death of the scheme altogether...
Without wishing to appear a killjoy I think that I can see a parallel here - I'm new to vouchers and it is apparent that some of you guys have been on this board for ages and never got involved in R+R - I'd hate to see Tesco's evil eye (imagine Lord of the Rings - fiery eye is Tesco Head office) now focus on voucher misuse as the more people do this the more they'll sit up and take notice...
I don't think Tesco objected to us posting our R+R finds on MSE but what really used to get up their nose was when we bragged about how much we had gotten for free - what do you lot think - am I being overly cautious by expressing concern?Tesco is my second home:j0 -
Today i bought £81 clothing, very new young boy calls over the supervisor cos he did not have a clue which vouchers he could expect:eek: Supervisor looks through all the clothing and H&B ones and says sorry but you can only use one of those, (holding up the so beaut 50points one) but the rest are fine:D
So used Blue £10, £6w, £6m, £4k(added manually), £6oquit, £6yellow,(thanks kronen) Am going to return a couple of items, so should be free clothes.
Also used £4off£40 spend (kindly sent to me and not with my name on)
and a couple of other people named extra points ones. Really glad they dont read the names!!
On 4 bottles of elvive sham/cond I used 1 so beaut £2.50, 1 £2off£8, 1 £1,25tq, 1 £1.25bq. but he must of scanned 1 £1.25 twice. So money off other shopping.
Good Day:D0 -

Hiya all,
I managed to pick up a load of yellow clothing vouchers today, and can share them out.
If anyone has new Quitkits H&B, old Quitkits H&B, new H&B sheets or 'So Beautiful' H&B coupons to swap I'd be happy to swap, or money off coupons (not store specific or internet prints)....or stamps...all these considered!
If nowt to swap, no worries! Just pm me for the address to send your SAE, I think you'd need 1st class stamps on your envelopes to ensure you get best use of the yellow vouchers as the first one is only valid for another week...PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Does anyone know how the 20% off clothing that starts on Wed will affect the use of the vouchers....will i have to buy £60 after 20% off or will it work like the BOGOFS and the till will recognise the spend before any discounts....hope you understand this...I'm confusing myself trying to work it out!!!0

It all depends on whether the 20% is marked off the items(ie...the items are reduced on their tickets eg £40 down to £32), or whether it comes off at the till, if it comes off at the till, then the total should only need to be £60 before the 20% off.......and it will work like the bogofs.
If it is a 20% off ALL clothing, then i would imagine it would come off like the bogofs...............as it would be much easier than hand reducing each individual item.Couponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

When they had 20% off all England clothing last Summer, I think the discount came off separately like a BOGOF discount. So maybe the vouchers may work against the original price, all we can do is try!
It was confusing because if you scanned the item on an instore scanner it would scan at, say, £10....then when you got to the till it would actually cost you £8 because it was only at the till that the discount would come off (like with a BOGOF).
P.S. I have replied to some pm's with offers of swaps....and others are sending me SAEs for yellow clothing vouchers.....I still have a nice pile of them going spare as I grabbed quite a LOT!!! Pm me if you'd like some, I can send out up to 4 sheets to each person....most H&B swaps or new/old Quitkit £1.25 coupons or stamps would be gratefully received as swaps.
Just an SAE is also fine if you've nowt to swap, send it quick though!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

hello everyone, i am new to this thread and trying to get my head around it.
i have a few questions and wonder if anyone could help:
where do they normally put the clothing leaflets? near the till? aisle? i looked around and did not see any today.
i applied to join the clothing club and have not received any vouchers yet so hopefully i can get some soon. at the moment, i only have the £6 off min £30 spend ones from quit pack, they expires on 17/06, r they old ones or new ones, these seem to be the only pack they have in my local stores. i have quite a few if anyone wish to swap.
i also have some £2 off min £8 spend beauty toiletry vouchers for swap if anyone have the yellow clothing vouchers.
never do the mr. t clothes shopping before and unsure how to use the vouchers, but i think i just need to collect different vouchers first then figure out the maths... wish i study harder for GCSE maths...0 -
I am holding onto my vouchers for a lovely red dress that was shown in the Tesco magazine but is not currently in stores yet.
Using other clothing vouchers I did get 2 gorgeous baby outfits, baby vests, bootees and socks for my friend's baby. OH said it seemed like alot to spend but it was all free using vouchers and I know as my friend hasn't got much for him she will be delighted.
Welshy xI am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL
